How to care for your succulent:

• Water: Only when the soil feels dry. Do not water the leaves. Drought tolerant, but still needs water from time to time.
• Temperature: Does not tolerate temperatures below freezing for extended periods of time. Cover your succulent with a sheet or light blanket in times of frost.
• Flowering: In winter to early spring, it produces dark pink bell-shaped flowers
• Succulents love good sun and great drainage
• Make sure the pot has a hole at the bottom to drain water
• Choose highly porous soil (not rich compost)
• They are not meant to be indoor plants
• Make sure they get good air circulation

Although they are fairly drought tolerant, they will become more spectacular with regular deep watering and light fertilizing. The hybrids and variegated versions tend to be less tolerant of frost and shade.
